Day Camps in Lake Country:
Looking for a creative outlet for your school aged children? We have everything your little creator needs to live their best artist life while you are away at work or enjoying a day to yourself! We are excited to be expanding our much loved summer programs to the beautiful Okanagan Centre Hall, where we will spend the summer months enjoying the nearby playground and beach, and arting the days away!
Full day: Drop off between 8:30-9am Pick up between 4 & 4:30PM Monday - Thursday
Open to ages 5*-11
*Must be already attending Kindergarten at the time of registration.
Program is best suited for independent children, who love art and are able to participate in mature group activities without bouncing off the walls all day (we love you high energy kids, but energyplex would love you MUCH more, and you will have much more fun than in our quiet little art studio which isn't equipped to provide what you need!)
August 6th -8th - Pets!
Here at Creative Flow, we LOVE animals, which is why we let Ben (our studio dog) pick this week's theme. And wouldn't you know it, he made it ALL about him!! Well, not just about him, but he did insist that one of the activities HAD to be, baking dog biscuts, which I think is a great idea! We will also be oh, I don't know...hatching some chicks this week! And doing our ever popular, adopt a pet day (no, don't worry, no one will go home with a dog, or even a rooster, but they will get a cute stuffed animal and all the accessories needed to care for it at it's new home!).
August 12th-15th - Favourite Things Week
During this special week, kids will have the opportunity to take part in some of our most treasured crafting fun, a list of our most asked about, talked about, and raved about activities, all jam packed into one special week. From dreamcatchers, to candle making, pottery to bleach dye, tie dye to slime, this week has it ALL! The only catch is, that the supply cost is quite high for these activities, so this week is a bit more than the rest.
August 19th-22nd - The Big Show!
We have a special camp week JUST for our Lake Country campers! We will be spending the week designing costumes, playing with stage makeup, dancing, singing, telling jokes and doing what the Lake Country kids have loved the most, PERFORMING!!! Don't be fooled, absolutely no useful skills will be taught! The kids are the directors, actors, dancers and designers! The one thing I can guarantee is....they will have an absolute blast during this grand finale of our summer camps!!!
Daycamp FAQ
About the facility/FAQ:
The price for full day camp will be $60/day (same pricing as full week). We do not plan or schedule activities for each day in advance specifically, but instead allow the kids to guide our week, with an overarching vision of the theme and activities that we feel would be fun. When booking single days, please be aware that we will not have this information to provide, and if there is a specific activity listed that your child is interested in, we strongly recommend that you book the full week to guarantee they are able to participate in each opportunity listed.
Children need: Lunch & snacks suitable for full or half day program (depending on registration), full change of clothes, water bottle and swimsuit/towel if desired.
**Please note, We are a peanut friendly facility and do cook and bake on site, so if your child has severe food allergies, please contact us before registering, or consider that it might not be a safe fit in extreme cases. If your child has common food allergies (wheat, gluten, dairy, nuts etc) it is advised that we will be utilizing all of these ingredients during our baking week, so best to skip that one!
All bookings are final and non refundable due to illness or cancellation, credits are not given for missed or cancelled classes or camps as our programs fill to capacity. You are welcome to transfer your booking to someone else, please contact me so I can obtain emergency contact information for that family.
