FAQ

What should my child wear?

We know that kids love to dress up for parties, but just a note that we are an art studio, and for many parties the activities include slime, paint, glitter and messy fun! (sorry not sorry!). We provide smocks, but kids will be kids, and we always recommend mess friendly clothes and shoes.

Can parents stay?

Our studio is an open concept, with no designated area for parents to stay and chat without disrupting the art class portion of the party. We ask that parents please drop off their child and come back at the end of the party, unless their child requires additional support.

Can you accommodate allergies?

This is a question for the birthday family as we do not offer snacks or food, but our studio does provide cupcakes for the kids to decorate as part of our birthday packages. We are happy to provide certified peanut free decorations and cupcakes, and often have at least some decorations available that work for most people, but our cupcakes do contain eggs, dairy and wheat. Please feel free to send a cupcake along with your child and we will alert staff of any allergies prior to the party.

We hear there is a studio dog?

The studio does in fact have a lazy golden retriever who "works" at the studio (professionally getting a lot of attention for being the best boy). Miss Katie, his mum, does not often work weekends, so he is often not at birthday parties, much to the disappointment of many! Allergies are typically not an issue because there is no carpet and he does not go on any furniture, just try to refrain from giving him a hug! In cases of extreme dog fear, please be aware that this is his second home and there is a chance that he will be laying in a corner somewhere.
