5 Week Miniatures Course

Service Description

Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm Nov 20th - Dec 17th Instructor: Miss Katie Each of the first four weeks, students will be using one shadow box to create a small window into an imaginary world, using a single overarching theme or story line (each student will be in charge of their own creative journey!). The final week will be for adding final details and finishing up. At the end of the series, each student will have a cohesive, four piece hangable art project, depicting an intricate story that they have created - maybe it's a glimpse into the life of a dragon breeder or secret apothecary owner, filled with treasures and spells, or a world where teeny mice have a quaint country home, with each room filled with mischievous family fun (and cheese!). It's always such a joy to see what possibilities students come up with, and what they create! We will have an abundance of supplies and tools to bring these miniature worlds to life! This class is open to students in grades 3-8
