Year 5 here we go! Summer break art camps are now open for registration!​

Every week at Creative Flow is a brand-new creative adventure! Each camp has its own unique theme, with several hands-on group projects and activities throughout the day designed around that week's theme. We also make lots of room for free art time, giving kids the chance to follow their own interests, experiment with different materials and create simply because they feel like it.

We believe that at this age, becoming an artist starts with exploring. Rather than focusing on everyone making the same finished product, we value process-based learning and give kids opportunities to try painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, crafts and plenty of wonderfully messy things along the way. Our goal is to help children discover what they love, build confidence in their creativity and begin to blossom into artists of their own. 🌱🎨

Every week is different, but the goal is always the same: lots of creativity, lots of exploration, and a whole lot of fun.

 

We don't just teach art, we provide the tools and space for them to discover what kind of artists they want to become! 

 

Before You Book

Please take a moment to read through the following information about our camps.

 

Camps are full day, with a flexible drop off between 8:30 & 9:30am and pickup between 3:30 & 4:30pm.

Camps are open to all *school aged* children - this means that they must already be attending kindergarten, or for summer camps, already have COMPLETED kindergarten (not my rules, this is the regulation.)

Our studio has, a lovely studio dog, a lazy golden retriever named Ben. Ben sheds. Ben sheds a lot. Shedding is Ben's superpower. Ben's face is so cute sometimes you can't help but want to rub your face on Ben's face. If your child is very allergic to dogs, this is probably going to be a problem for them! We are also a peanut friendly facility and do cook and bake on site, so if your child has severe food allergies, please contact us before registering, or consider that it might not be a safe fit in extreme cases. 

 

A note about program fit: Creative Flow is an art studio, not a daycare centre. Our camps are designed for kids (and staff!) who genuinely enjoy art, and are happy spending much of their day engaged in focused, hands-on art activities. We are a calm, welcoming space for sensory-sensitive kiddos, and our staff are experienced in supporting children with diverse abilities, but we are not equipped to provide the movement and active play that highly energetic children may need. Please don't register a younger sibling who isn't interested in art simply because their older sibling wants to attend, or choose our camp for a child who doesn't really enjoy art, just because you need childcare and we happen to have an opening. We reserve the right to contact parents to pick up a student who is consistently disengaged from the program or whose behaviour is significantly disrupting the experience of other students and staff who are there to create and participate. We want every child who walks through our doors to genuinely enjoy being here, and for our studio to remain a peaceful place where kids and staff can do what they came to do: make art!

All bookings are final and non refundable due to illness or cancellation, credits are not given for missed or cancelled classes or camps as our programs fill to capacity. You are welcome to transfer your booking to someone else, please contact me so I can obtain emergency contact information for that family.
