Daycamp FAQ
Welcome to our much loved winter art camps! Please take a moment to read over some helpful information prior to booking.
Camps are full day, with a flexible drop off between 8:30 & 9am and pickup between 3:30 & 4:30pm (Dec 31 NYE we will be closed at 3:30pm)
Children need: Lunch & snacks suitable for full day, water bottle, outside clothes appropriate for the weather, and full change of clothes in the event of art/snow/water/other unexpected accidents. Dry shoes or hard soled slippers if snowy outside (we are NOT a sock friendly facility, floors are cold and full of glitter, paint, Ben hair and chaos lol!).
**Please note, if your child has pet allergies, our studio has, a lovely studio dog, a golden retriever named Ben. We are also a peanut friendly facility and do cook and bake on site, so if your child has severe food allergies, please contact us before registering, or consider that it might not be a safe fit in extreme cases.
Our small program and creative space lends itself best to more of the quiet creative types! We are a safe space for sensory sensitive kiddos, and all of our staff is highly trained and experienced with supporting kids with diverse abilities. Although we love those high energy kids, there are many other programs who would really love them more, and would be a much better fit to provide space for their needs. We ask that you please consider whether a small art studio with seated activities for 8hrs is really the best fit for your child, or if they may have more fun running around until they are a bit older...I know I'll be leaving my two boys at the Y to play basketball and I can't wait for some serious craft time!
All bookings are final and non refundable due to illness or cancellation, credits are not given for missed or cancelled classes or camps as our programs fill to capacity. You are welcome to transfer your booking to someone else, please contact me so I can obtain emergency contact information for that family.
