  • Summer/Spring/Winter/Pro-D Day Camps (Full-Time) (Monday–Friday, 8:15am–4:45pm, with occasional weekends)

We are ideally looking for one candidate with broad availability, though we are open to sharing the role between two strong candidates depending on experience and availability.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise children in engaging, hands-on art and craft activities

  • Teach beginner-level art projects (drawing, painting, mixed media, crafts for kids in kindergarten to grade 6 -so you don't have to be a world class artist, don't let that scare you off! Passion for creativity is the key, skill is less important!)

  • Facilitate birthday parties and special events

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed studio environment

  • Support daily studio setup, cleanup, and organization

  • Build relationships with children and families

  • Contribute ideas for new programs, workshops, and creative offerings on a weekly basis, with ample time provided for program planning and development

Who You Are

  • Experienced working with children (education, childcare, camps, or similar)

  • Passion for arts and crafts

  • Confident leading groups and teaching basic techniques for up to 20 students independently

  • Energetic, patient, and highly reliable

  • Organized and able to manage transitions and group dynamics

  • A mature candidate interested in long-term growth and leadership opportunities in a laid back, creative environment with freedom to play

  • Available most weekday afternoons and weekends (flexibility considered for the right person)

Qualifications

  • Strong background in education, ECE, youth programming, group child care etc

  • Experience planning or developing programs

  • Passion for creativity

  • Interest in growing into a leadership or program development role long term

  • Class 5 drivers license & clean drivers abstract (required for after school program)

Opportunities for Growth

This is more than just an instructor role. For the right candidate, there are opportunities to:

  • Create additional hours (evenings or daytime programming)

  • Develop and lead new classes, workshops, or specialty programs

  • Grow into a senior or leadership position within the studio

Why Work With Us

  • Creative, fun, and supportive work environment

  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on kids’ confidence and creativity

  • Flexible structure with potential for expanded hours

  • Be part of a growing, community-focused business
